Greece is located in the south of Balani and is the meeting point between the Mediterranean and Balkan, a crossroads between the Black Sea and Mediterranean.
Greece is wet from the Sea of Crete, the Ionian Sea and dall'Egeo.
It borders with Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
The morphological framework of the country is complex: mountains occupy 60% of the territory, while the plains only 20%. There are numerous islands (2000) and are split into small archipelagos in addition el'Eubea Crete.
In 2001, despite the public deficit / GDP has exceeded the limit set by the Maastricht parameters, Greece was able to adopt the euro.
The success has encouraged the growth of GDP and a containment of inflation and the economy has also benefited from the work of development of infrastructure for the Olympics in Athens in 2004 that have triggered a virtuous circle favourable business and employment.
